Cyril Benoit founded B&A in 2011. Previously, he held several executive positions in the investment industry, as well as in public affairs. From 2007 to 2010, he was Principal of Perella Weinberg Partners’ Real Estate fund in London. From 2004 to 2007, he served as Head of Corporate Development and M&A, then CFO/CIO of the shopping center division, as well as member of the Strategic Committee at Unibail-Rodamco. Before 2004, he served at the French Treasury Department, and as an Advisor to the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry (Laurent Fabius). Cyril received several nominations as one of the leading young entrepreneurs in France. Cyril is also the Former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Aspen Institute France and a founder of the France-Israel Foundation. He is an alumni of Ecole Normale Supérieure and holds a BA in philosophy of Université de Paris-IV Sorbonne.

Based in Asia since 1995, Emmanuel Gros is the Head of B&A Shanghai office, which he joined after having participating in Bright Food’s acquisition of Diva Bordeaux. Emmanuel Gros has been living in China since 2002. He started his career in the industry sector as the PCM CEO for the Asia-Pacific zone. During this period, he created a manufacturing plant, a J-V, six offices in China and one in Thailand. Within 10 years in the Pacific-Asia zone, Emmanuel Gros has enabled PCM to develop into the global market leader in its industry. Emmanuel is also the Vice-President of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China and French Foreign Trade Advisor. He holds a Master from ESSEC (1998) and a diploma from Harvard University (1996). He is fluent in English and Chinese.

Jean-Michel Piveteau, a noted member of the business community in China where he has been living since 1993, joined B&A as Senior Partner in September 2015. He is based in Beijing. With more than 23 years as the Country Head of Paribas Group, in several Asian countries such as Taiwan (4 years), India (5 years), Thailand/Malaysia/Vietnam (4 years) and in China since 1993, Jean-Michel Piveteau is an expert in the banking sector with an in-depth knowledge of the Asian market. Jean-Michel is also the President of the China section office of the Foreign Trade Advisers of France (CCEF), a board member of the CNCCEF in Paris, and the Supervisory Board chairman of MicroCred China (PlaNet Finance Group). Jean-Michel is a graduate of Sciences Po and holds a doctorate in Business Administration from Paris-Dauphine’s University. He has been decorated with the awards of "Chevalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur” and “Officier de l’Ordre National du Mérite”.

Catherine has 17 years of professional experience in restructuring, investment as well as corporate, tax, real estate and banking related legal issues (Perella Weinberg Partners, Avequis, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton). She graduated from University of Paris II with a Juris Doctorate in business Law and Hautes Etudes Commerciales with a Masters of Science in Management.

Cyril benefits from over 15 years experience in Audit and Investment Banking (SocGen, HSBC, Kepler) in M&A and ECM. He advised numerous listed and private clients from small to large caps covering various businesses. He graduated from top engineering school Ecole des Mines de Paris (Mines ParisTech) and majored in Entrepreneurs at leading business school HEC Paris.

Nicolas has over 10 years experience in M&A, investment banking and strategic consulting (Fosun, ABN Amro, GE, OC&C). He graduated from top engineering school Ecole des Mines (Mines ParisTech) and majored in Finance at London Business School.

Tingting has 5 years experience in M&A, investment banking and corporate finance. Before joining B&A, she worked at BNP Paribas and Capgemeini North America. She graduated from Fudan University and ESCP Europe.

Jue previously worked with JD Capital in China and Solidiance Management Consulting in Singapore, covering various sectors, in particular the chemical and materials industry She graduated from University of Toronto and HEC Paris.

Tiffany previously worked as operational specialist at Dow Chemical Share Service Center and Senior Accountant at Bosch China Investment. She graduated from Fudan University.

Gania Mahmoud works as Personal Assistant to Cyril Benoit and Office Manager at B&A Paris. She began her career at Microsoft EMEA Corporate Services Departement in 2003. She joined Weil, Gotshal & Manges American law firm in 2007 as Legal Assistant and Montagu Private Equity in 2010 as Executive Assistant. Gania has lived in UK and holds a degree in English Civilisation and Literature (LCE) from University of Aix en Provence.
